We are not required to appoint a data protection officer. Please send any data protection question to Adrian Chamberlain at the email address above.

What personal data we process

Only the data you give us through the enquiry form or by email: your name, organisation, role, email address, phone number (optional) and your message.

Why we process it and our lawful basis

  • To reply to your enquiry – our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us about our services (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).
  • To prepare and deliver work you ask us to do – taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR).

Who receives it

LH.pl Sp. z o.o., which hosts our website and email on our behalf, and public authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your data or use it for marketing.

Transfers outside the UK

Your data is stored on servers in Poland, in the European Economic Area. The UK recognises the European Economic Area as giving personal data an adequate level of protection.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 12 months after our last contact.
  • If we work together: for the length of the work and up to six years after it ends.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • access your personal data (Article 15)
  • have it corrected (Article 16)
  • have it erased (Article 17)
  • restrict how it is processed (Article 18)
  • receive it in a portable format, where this applies (Article 20)
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interests (Article 21).

To use any of these rights, email adrian@chamberlainassociates.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have used your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, phone 0303 123 1113.

Do you have to give us your data?

No. There is no legal or contractual requirement to give us your data, but without your name and email address we cannot reply to your enquiry.

Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions about you by automated means, including profiling.
